Band Diego tries to make it easy for you to see costs for your party entertainment online. We do not believe in hidden fees and want you to have a clear picture of our services so you can compare us to others when shopping for entertainment. All parties are unique. Prices depend on the size of the band you choose, the location of your party, customized songs you specifically ask for, hours musicians perform, type of equipment required for your performance, the length of time entertainers are needed to be on site, and other services you choose to obtain from us. Your Party Location Considerations Your reservation/entertainment purchase does not include permits, insurance, licenses that your party location, park, community may require.
If the performance requires electricity, is there a power outlet near performance area and no splashing water? Band Diego also has an option of a battery powered PA and needs to know in advance to be able to plan to bring it. Is the location difficult for gear load in? Your quote may need adjustment due to hillsides, stairways, rough terrain or musicians not being able to park close enough to performance area to unload glear.

The band please needs a hard surface such as a stage, floor, asphalt, concrete to perform on unless you specify gravel, grass, sand, dirt. The gear used is very different for each terrain.
Please provide general lighting over performance area inside and outside.
Space: a Trio Requires a minimum of 10'x8', Quartet requires 12'x10'. Depending on instruments, plan for: Aprox 3-5 feet for each musician.

Your wedding reception, awards ceremony, or corporate party may be able to be a standard show rate. This depends on your custom requirements, location, and the length of time that the band and equipment will be on site. Band Diego offers you exceptional band choices of: acoustic unplugged, acoustic amplified, electric amplified with midi drum tracks, and electric amplified with live drummer. The band also has a battery powered PA option if you do not have electricity at your location. Pleae inquire.

One-Two Hour Shows
DJ, Duos, Trios, Quartets, up to 10 entertainers.
Three Hour-Four Hour Standard Performance Standard shows are 45 minute music performance sets with 15 minute breaks. The band sets up right before performing and tears down right after performing. We are on site for about 5-7 hours. Includes 4-10 performers dressed appropriately for your celebration. We cater to your preferences and match music and attire to your party themes.
Four, Five, Six Hour Shows
Non-Stop Entertainment. These are Band with DJ Packages for longer celebrations. The DJ can often customize/program songs played to your preferences before the performance date so you hear your favorites on your celebration day. A wireless microphone is available for your guest announcements. Entertainers may need to be on site 6-8 hours for equipment setup requirements.
Why not sing or read as poetry your heartfelt song to your loved one? Please inquire about our DUO that Plays to Your Song Choice. An acoustic guitarist and bassist will play while you sing or read your marriage proposal, birthday song, anniversary tune, retirement song, military song, Package includes one rehearsal in La Mesa San Diego County before you sing at your celebration. Fun surprise entertainment for that very special person in your life. ($250.)
Guest Speakers Band Diego accommodates your announcements by offering you professional sound equipment. If you have award presentations or PA equipment needs for your guest speakers which will go beyond the 15 minute breaks between sets, please let us know so we may plan appropriately for your celebration. Band Diego can play shorter sets for these situations so that you may stay within the guideline for the standard performance package pricing. There are also some fabulous custom packages available for longer events that provide cocktail hour music, dinner background music, and a dance set. (4-10 performers)
Band Diego is available for 1-6 hour performances for private celebrations, clubs, festivals, and non-profit organizations. The music selection is an enjoyable variety for all ages and especially perfect for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, corporate functions, BBQs, sock hops, and block parties.
General Requirements and Planning Considerations Please plan to provide parking for each entertainer. Please have a backup indoor plan or cover if rain. Please plan to provide general lighting around the stage area. Amplified bands require a flat surface such as a patio, stage, or floor and an electrical outlet within 20 feet of the band. Acoustic bands with handheld percussion are suitable for grass areas and some amplifaction can be used. Band can not play near water splashing such as from swimming pools. Please turn off sprinklers for the performance if outside. Beach areas can be damp and foggy so some shows, such as late night beach area shows/decks, may need special equipment suitable for the possible weather conditions. Parking provided by you must be within 1/2 block to show unless special arrangements are made in advance of performance. Hillsides, rough terrain and stairs require special quotes. Stage areas generally require a minimum of approx. 12ft x 10 ft per 4 entertainers. It is best if the dance floor is setup directly in front of the band. (Carpet is difficult to dance on)
Band Diego does not provide permits or insurances your venue possibly requires unless special arrangements are made and agreed to in advance with Band Diego. Band Diego does travel by vehicle up to 75 miles from San Diego Area so please inquire. Travel charges may apply if out of San Diego County. Cancellations will be accepted if made 60 days in advance and if your small deposit is forfeited to band. Band Diego does often accept last minute shows if they are available, however Band Diego requires full payment in advance of all entertainment. The band also has a booking agency if you prefer to book with Gigmasters.
Early reservations are best as the band wants to be available for your celebration!
