Band Diego has a pool of talented local San Diego County/California players and is available as a small or big band. Oldies Variety, Rock, Classic Country, English and Spanish.

Interested in performing with Band Diego ?
Generally musicians that are available to perform weekends and can play the material have a possibility of being offered performance opportunities. Band Diego has multiple players and has been successfully performing for over 10 years.

Currently we are seeking bi-lingual musicians that can sing oldies music in other languages as well as in English. Band Diego is open to exploring collaboration with your existing group if you have one.

It is verified at auditions and practice if musicians can perform some of the material. After an audition, if you are invited to practice, Band Diego tries to make time to work with new players individually or in small groups while they are in process of getting up to speed on material we play. Band Diego is accommodating with practice schedules.

All musicians commit to practice 1-2 times a month in La Mesa San Diego until up to speed on material. All musicians plan to come to practice before shows even if they know the material because the band may require practice together as a whole, may learn new material, work on harmony, provide show direction.

Musicians that perform in Band Diego follow directions from two people: the manager and music director. If musicians do not follow directions or learn material, Band Diego cuts their time investment with musicians.
